Current and Previous Show History

Jama's experience is currently fueled solely by his education and hands on experience at The University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music's Theater Design and Production program. The College-Conservatory of Music produces 9 Mainstage shows and 6 Studio shows among a dozen other smaller projects each year. On average, a student is assigned 3 shows a year in their discipline, in addition to assignments in other disciplines based on the student's current class schedule.​

Sound Designer

Designed a sound system comprised of 13 speakers, a Yamaha PM5D, 9 Shure ULX-D Microphones, a primarily electronic pit orchestra, utilizing microphones and direct boxes alike, as well as a comm and video system. Also managed up to 13 other students and staff members during the entirety of the production from load in to strike.

Carrie: The Musical was a College-Conservatory of Music Fall Studio Musical.

Responsible for managing a wireless crew of 3, getting actors into and out of their microphones, and troubleshooting the wireless system. The system consisted of 24 wireless microphones, 8 Sennheiser 16 Shure, for 29 performers.
